A Word from Dean: Thanks to Western

The summer has flown by for me because I’ve been having fun at Western. Now it is time to say goodbye, and I do so with a smile on my face and with a warm spot in my heart for you all.

Thank you for the hospitality, patience, support, and good Spirit that you have shown. It has taken me a while to almost come up to speed with the tech, and you’ve answered all of my questions and taught me as I stumbled along. You’ve accommodated by weaknesses. When I have made sins of omission, you have been gracious.

Pastors thrive when parishioners are so generous in Spirit. Heavens, everyone thrives in welcoming, caring communities! I know Laura will appreciate her affectionate welcome back next week and into the fall.

I am deeply, deeply grateful to have been with you these three months. You will stay in my heart as I pray that your demonstrative love for one another and for your Gospel outreach will flourish.

In Christ,

Dean
