The Way Home - Ending Chronic Homelessness in DC

Nobody should live or die without housing. Yet, tragically, far too many of our neighbors died without the dignity of a home this year, including 22 who died from COVID-19. We ask you to join us and support our partner organization, The People for Fairness Coalition, in their 8th annual homeless memorial vigil, to be held this Sunday and Monday.

The People for Fairness Coalition extends this invitation to the entire DC community and shares that, "this event will memorialize neighbors we have lost and honor those who are healing from the harms caused by racial and economic injustice. No one deserves to die on the streets, and we yearn for the day when we will no longer have to hold this yearly event. Every person, in both life and death, deserves the dignity of a home."

Click here to RSVP and for more details. More information about the events and how you can participate (both in-person and virtually) will be sent in the coming days.

We look forward to seeing you at this powerful event and working together to ensure that nobody else lives or dies without housing.

In justice,

Jesse, sent on behalf of The Way Home Campaign
