Help Wanted!

No. Not that part. Session has a firm grip on Western’s big “help wanted” work this fall, and that work is moving forward as it should.

Indeed, I spent a few hours with John Molina-Moore earlier this week, and he is excited about the candidates National Capital Presbytery has just cleared to speak with Western’s session. There’s no specific news or timeline to share, but the process is moving as anticipated when I began three months ago with an expectation that I would be with you from four-to-six months.

My “help wanted” invitation is much more focused. Literally. I want pictures (digital only) of Western Presbyterian Church being church together. So, please, search your file folders, Google drives, cameras, or whatever device holds you photo files. Send me your best shots … and your second best … maybe even third.

I’m working on a brief video project for our Oct. 6 worship, and it will use dozens of pics. I need them by Friday, Sept. 27. Send them to me at rev.dr.david.ensign@gmail.com.

We will all see the results during worship that morning.
