Session Notes - October 2019

Your Session sat for its regular monthly meeting earlier this week.

We devoted most of the meeting time to hearing a progress report from the anti-racism group that came together two years ago.  The group has developed a work plan -- organized on the principles of education, empathy and action -- to share with the entire church.  You’ll be seeing more about this in the months to come.  A visible first step is the brightly-colored lending library stack in the 24th Street foyer.

We also heard an update from the Stewardship Ministry and looked at a first draft of the 2020 budget.  These two are related – to complete the budgeting process, we’re requesting your pledge commitment by Sunday, November 17.

That’s it for this month.  Thanks for reading.
