Guest Worship Leaders: Irene and Phil Bennett

We welcome as worship leaders today, the Reverend Doctor Phillip Bennett and Reverend Irene Vinyard Bennett, better known as Phil and Irene. Both are graduates of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville KY and have served Baptist churches and agencies in eight states and Hong Kong. As educational ministers, writers, and editors, they have created curriculum, been national leaders, and preached and taught in many countries around the world. The Bennetts have visited Western ever since their daughter, Malissa Bennett, and her husband, David Berezansky, joined more than a decade ago. Now, in retirement, they live in Alexandria VA and participate regularly in Western's church life.
