Reclaim Our Vote: An Initiative of Common Ground

Post Card Writing in the Primaries on the Road to the Midterms!   

This spring, Reclaim Our Vote/Center for Common Ground has been sending postcards to thousands of Black voters who need to be encouraged to vote early in primary elections. Right now the focus is on North Carolina and Georgia. These states have instituted purging practices that are very problematic. Early voting gives voters a chance to correct an erroneous disqualification which can’t be done on Election Day. Click here for more information.

Voting rights are considered sacred by many and are the cornerstone of our Democracy. In the spirit of John Lewis let us work to protect this right and counteract laws that significantly impact voters of color.
