Guest Musician: Sean Burns

Sean Burns is a Philadelphia-area native who relocated to Washington, DC to pursue a law degree at Georgetown University Law Center. Before enrolling at Georgetown, Sean worked full time as a professional musician, dividing his time between the worlds of sacred music and vocal coaching.

As an organist, Sean received a Master of Music at Westminster Choir College, where he studied with Alan Morrison. He then worked in several Philadelphia-area churches, most recently at Abington Presbyterian Church.

In his vocal capacity, Sean worked at several universities and young artist programs for rising opera singers, most notably CoOPERAtive in Princeton, NJ and on the staff of the winter festival at Sarasota Opera in Florida.
